So you say you’re a big fan of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” series but haven’t had time yet to read the comics on which it’s based? Well, now’s your chance as comiXology is offering the first 99 issues at half-price from July 10-15.

The Eisner Award-wining The Walking Dead comic series was not only the #1 seller in graphic novels for 2011 — and is on track to retain the title again this year — but was also the top-rated basic cable drama of all time during Season Two of the hit AMC television series. Kirkman serves as both writer and executive producer on the TV series.

“You can’t walk the floor of Comic-Con without seeing some form of The Walking Dead. In addition, for this week only, comiXology will be offering three digital-only omnibuses that collect issues #1-99 — making it easier than ever to jump on board this series.
