French One-Sheet and Trailer for The Horde
The French trailer and one-sheet for the Xavier Gens-produced flick by Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, The Horde, appeared online today, and we have them both for you all good and foreign like.
The film comes out next year in France and IFC has landed distro here in the States, but there's no info on when we'll be seeing it. Dig on the goods below courtesy of Allocine.
Official Synopsis:
"North of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, four corrupt cops go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobsters' hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable."

Some people are just born to play a certain role. Karloff was the monster. Lugosi was Dracula. Jeffrey Combs? This is a man who was born to play Edgar Allan Poe. One of the most incredible times I've ever had was when we saw Nevermore in LA last month. It was literally the closest to ever spending an evening with Poe we modern day folks could hope for. Now fans in Maryland are about to join in on the experience.

I thought it was great. Should get a proper review together now that we're allowed (I think) to publish 'em. The only thing I could say before was that it was as close to "Left 4 Dead: The Movie" as you could unofficially get. Zombie and action fans (well, zombie fans who aren't all shirty about them running) should love it.

All the reviews so far say this is complete garbage. Until I hear otherwise, I will avoid.
