With the director's cut of the much maligned film on its way, the supposed alternate ending of Rob Zombie's Halloween II has found its way online. Of course we have it for you. Because we love you. We love you long time.
Look for Halloween II's DVD and Blu-ray debut on January 12, 2010. Who knows what other goodies, or baddies for that matter, will make it into this new alternate cut. One thing's for sure: We'll be watching. Expect a full review soon.

'Halloween 2' needs more than an alternative ending, it needs an alternative film altogether.

well, after listening to the commentary for H2 DC I can tell you that this ending does not set laurie up as the killer in H3. She dies from the gunshots and the asylum is merely a hullicination as she lay dying. The DC is much improved over the theatrical though, except for the ending. A fan edit will fix that down the line

I actually think this is a much better ending. I just wasted 90 minutes of my life, at least this ending would have provided me with something to laugh at. This original ending is so hilarious. The super long slow mo of Tyler Mane doing the absolute bare minimum of acting while the squibs went off, to using Love Hurts before the credits. Just awesome.

Has there ever been a worse idea than 'ghost mom & the white horse'? I mean, it just is so far off from what the whole series is about!
And I will say this again, I loved RZ's remake of the first Halloween, but this sequel was garbage - I will never watch it again.

Please, people are still relying on that argument? Pathetic. I'd rather have that a hundred times over than watch Halloween II again. No matter how bad Myers has been before, in H2 he's worse.

I have to disagree with you T. I actually liked H2, and do think that out the entire Halloween series of films, "Resurrection" is the worst of the lot!

Same here, saw H2 3 times on the opening weekend. Halloweens 5 and 6 certainly had me wanting to kill the filmmakers though. It's a miracle those tapes made it back to the Blockbusters as i was seriously thinking about smashing them with a hammer.

Proof positive that RZ has absolutely no understanding of what made Meyers terrifying in the first place.
Though, to give credit where it's due, I thought Scout Taylor-Compton and Danielle Harris were both good in this despite RZ's hackneyed direction. Ditto Brad Douriff.
Really stoked on seeing Harris in HATCHET 2 now.

The theatrical ending was much better... this is just labored and lacking any sense of tension or purpose! In saying that, I like the idea of Michael ripping his mask off, but did we need to see his face as much as we do? However, I really do not like Michael yelling, "Die!". Very out-of-character, even in Zombie's re-imagining(s). In summary then, although I'm not an experienced gynecologist, I'll still take a look at it for you!

I skipped this movie entirely, though I'll probably catch it when it airs on Showtime or wherever. But this ending does seem to clarify Rob Zombie is flipping everyone the bird. Right down to the cover of Love Hurts.

This is just what every horror fan wants to see. One of the most beloved horror icons, who aside from a few fleeting glimpses in the first original movie, we never see his face, and he never speaks a word... Now having his mask taken off to reveal he's the heavy metal hobo member of the Grizzly Adams fan club, while yelling DIE!!!!! My life is complete.
