DVD Art & Specs for Warner's 4 Film Favorites: Thriller Collection

We're just coming up on Halloween, and already the home video companies are announcing titles that'll be streeting in early 2010. On the list for January 12th is Warner's 4 Film Favorites: Thriller Collection, which contains four movies that you wouldn't necessarily associate with one another.

While you're perusing the special features that are included with each film, see if you can figure out what, if anything, they have in common:

  • GHOST SHIP: 5 Featurettes • Mudvayne "Not Falling" Music Video
  • DREAMCATCHER: • Original Ending and 4 Other Lifted Scenes • 3 Featurettes
  • GOTHIKA: Commentary by Director Mathieu Kassovitz and Director of Photography Matthew Libatique • Limp Biskit "Behind Blue Eyes" Music Video
  • QUEEN OF THE DAMNED: Additional Scenes • Commentary by Director Michael Rymer, Producer Jorge Saralegu, and Composer Richard Gibbs • 3 Featurettes • 4 Music Videos: "Forsaken", "Redeemer", "System", and Static X’s "Cold" • Extended "Slept So Long" and "Not Meant for Me" Concert Sequences • Gag Reel • Production Book Stills Gallery
  • Along with its "thriller" titles, Warner Home Video is releasing collections of Kevin Costner, Richard Pryor, Wesley Snipes (no Blade unfortunately), Whoopi Goldberg, Romance, Urban Action, Westerns, and Wedding-themed films. Talk about something for everyone!

Yeah, Halloween is fast approaching that is why movie companies were having their own different ways to earn with their horror movies. On the other hand, they certainly tried to put fan favorites in the film, but even the combination of Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler couldn't salvage any Law Abiding Citizen reviews from being shot to pieces. The film is about a man who orchestrates elaborate ways for people who have wronged him to perish, while he is far from the scene, including while he's in prison. It wasn't a huge box office hit either, coming in second to Where the Wild Things Are. If it turns out that the Law Abiding Citizen reviews are accurate, and the film stinks, maybe it isn't worth installment loans to go see.

Don't worry, there is already one of these four packs for the Blade movies.

Not only do the films not go together, but I also wouldn't think anyone would classify any of those as their favorite anything.
