Paranormal Activity's Orange County Fan Appreciation Party
On Thursday, October 23rd, Heather Wixson (also known around these parts as "The Horror Chick") was on hand for a special Paranormal Activity Midnight Screening and Party at the AMC at the Block in Orange, California. Those in attendance got special VIP passes to the event as well as a gift bag stuffed with a poster, limited edition t-shirt, and other goodies.

Before the film started, we greeted the anxious audience and gave away some prizes, courtesy of Paramount Pictures. Next up was a raffle, which featured FEARnet golf items, video games, a FEARnet hoodie and knit cap, and a $50 gift card for Amazon.com. After a brief introduction of Paranormal Activity by yours truly, the audience was more than ready for 90 minutes of scares.
Special thanks to Paramount Pictures for letting Dread Central be a part of the Paranormal Activity event and to Sean Cain for acting as my personal paparazzi for the evening.

Although they said they were waiting until they hit 200,000 followers on Twitter, Summit Entertainment went ahead and released the title treatment artwork for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this evening, and of course we've got a look at it for you ... in all its sparkly glory.

Did they add extra scares for the version that was screened? Because the version I saw had may 30 seconds of scares near the end and about an hour and twenty minutes of a dopey couple and some haunted hay ride type BS beforehand.
The ending was kinda creepy, but this movie is no BLAIR WITCH.
