Get ready for John Gulager’s Piranha 3DD, which finds a horde of piranha invading a water park run by the unscrupulous Chet (David Koechner) and his unsuspecting step-daughter, Maddy (Danielle Panabaker).
Also starring in Piranha 3DD are Matt Bush, David Hasselhoff, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, Ving Rhames and Chris Zylka, featuring a cameo from Gulager’s own father and beloved genre actor Clu Gulager.
Recently Dread Central’s Brian Smith had the chance to catch up with Gulager, Koechner and Panabaker during the Piranha 3DD press event and discussed with the trio what fans can expect from the sequel, which hits VOD and theaters this Friday, June 1st, as well as more on the joys of working with practical piranha and the challenges of shooting in 3D.
