HBO's True Blood Inspired Jewelry Collection
HBO, in collaboration with Udi Behr, Chief Designer for Love Peace and Hope, has created a new line of jewelry around the network’s hit series "True Blood". Inspired by the dark and sexy nature of the vampires in the television series, the collection includes bracelets, leather cuffs, necklaces, rings, and earrings in an edgy fusion of sterling silver, polished steel, and crimson rubies – many of which feature a patented fang-like clasp.
"Working on the True Blood jewelry has been a great opportunity as the show has all the ingredients to create a luxurious, high-end jewelry collection with ‘bite’," said Behr.
"We’re very pleased to be working with Udi Behr", said James Costos, Vice President, Licensing and Retail at HBO. "His designs are unique in the marketplace, and this jewelry collection really captures the essence of the series."

We told you about Larry Fessenden's latest production for Glass Eye Pix, James Felix McKenney's Hypothermia, a couple of weeks ago, but other than a quick teaser trailer, there really wasn't a whole lot of info available. Today, however, a little bit more light was shed on things in the form of a synopsis.

I am a huge TRUE BLOOD fan! I actually just ordered one of the silver infinity rings, it is absolutely stunning! I hope to receive more pieces for the holidays!

I just had to look at the jewelry since I am a big jewelry person and I have to say I am not impressed with it. It's way over priced. Stainless steal??? That costs nothing and they are charging 875 bucks for a necklace with a "mud" ruby in it. I have better mud rubies for 45 bucks in a sterling silver ring.
