If so, that's exactly what you can see in the clip from Godkiller that was provided to us today by Halo-8 Entertainment. Godkiller is slated for a limited theatrical release in January 2010, but Halo-8 has put together an innovative release campaign by splitting the movie into three shortform, episodic DVDs released bi-monthly leading up to the full theatrical release (similar to how comic books are released before the complete graphic novel). The first episode comes to DVD today, October 6th, and as reported previously, Meltdown Comics will be hosting a free screening (click here for more details) on Wednesday, October 7th at 8pm in their art gallery attached to the store on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Godkiller: Walk Among Us is the epic story of a boy on a quest to save his dying sister. It takes place in a dark future after economic collapse, after nuclear holy war, and after Earth is colonized by alien races. Tommy and his kid sister Lucy live in an orphanage in one of the few remaining city-states, but Lucy is critically ill and desperately in need of a new heart. Tommy's odyssey to find a new heart for his sister begins when he follows an organ-stealing prostitute named Halfpipe out of the city-state and into the savage borderland known as Outer City. Godkiller's eclectic cast of voice actors includes Danielle Harris, Lance Henriksen, Justin Pierre, Tiffany Shepis, Bill Moseley, Nicki Clyne, Katie Nisa, Lydia Lunch, and Davey Havok.
