The Hunger Remake Coming From Warner Bros.

Joining the remake cavalcade is a retelling of Tony Scott's 1983 vampire flick The Hunger. Not surprising considering how vamps are Hollywood's new "it" things. The news was teased today via THR, and the only detail we know about it is that the film is now in development over at Warner Bros.

The original film told the tale of the Egyptian vampire lady Miriam, who subsists upon the blood of her lovers. In return the guys or girls don't age... until Miriam has enough of them. Unfortunately that's currently the case with John, so his life expectancy is below 24 hours.

Desperately he seeks help from the famous Dr. Sarah Roberts. She doesn't really believe his story, but becomes curious and contacts Miriam ... and gets caught in her web, too.

Who knows how faithful this new flick will be to the original plot-wise? Dig on the trailer below and let's hope for the best, shall we?

Kind of "meh" on this one. Never liked the original.
