Jennifer's Body Director to Resurrect Cronenberg-esque Horrors?

Even though Jennifer's Body (review here) hasn't been completely ... ummm ... exposed yet on a national scale, that hasn't stopped director Karyn Kusama from chatting up some future projects she has planned. One of which sounds particularly interesting.

In a recent interview with io9 Karyn had this to say about her next genre themed project: "There's a screenplay I wrote a while ago with a partner that has a sort of element of horror, although I would call it a psychological horror in the David Cronenberg tradition, that I'm tying to get made."

She continues, "It definitely does fall into sort of a body horror movie that deals very, very specifically with our concept of gender. I can't really talk to you specifically about it other than to say that Rachel Weisz (pictured right) is attached to the film."

Something about talk of hot chicks and Cronenberg just brings a big smile to our faces. Let's hope we get to explore Weisz's body next!
