A couple of updates came through via Twitter recently that we thought newsworthy but not quite detailed enough for their own individual stories.

First is a tease from Wes Craven about the trailer for his long-awaited 25/8 project: "Just saw the studio's new trailer for #25/8... it rocks! Think STAND BY ME with knives!"
Follow @wescraven to see if he spills any more details over the coming days.
Next, E! Online proclaims, "New New Moon Trailer in the Wild!" and provides a link to the leaked new Twilight Saga: New Moon trailer that has been playing before screenings of Sorority Row. It falls right in line with the description we posted on Friday. But remember ... the extended version is premiering exclusively during the MTV VMA's on Sunday, and once it's aired, you can click here to watch and re-watch it to your heart's content.
Follow @eonline to stay up-to-date on all the latest Hollywood news and gossip (if that's your thing).
Finally, Bloody-Disgusting reports, "Samara Looking to Return in 'The Ring' 3-D Sequel". No other details are available; it's all just "talk" at this point.

Cash, maybe doing a third movie is really the only way we'll get that original movie and it's extras. I really feel like we got fucked on that original DVD.

Yeah, that disc was bullshit.
THE RING TWO DVD had heaps of good stuff on it, and that movie was poo.

Yeah, because that's the one way they can atone for how shitty THE RING TWO was; a hack cash-in 3-D sequel.
How about just giving us Verbinski's film on Blu-Ray with all that deleted Chris Cooper material.
