New Images from The Occultist

Rock star extraordinaire Aine Leicht dropped us off a couple of stills for Domiziano Arcangeli's latest film The Occultist for your enjoyment, and one of them just brings the biggest evil smile to our faces! Ah, indie filmmaking! How we love the balls that you exhibit at times.

Before we get to the stills ... a little background. Arcangeli is teaming up with producer David S. Sterling on two new horror films: the currently shooting The Occultist and H1N1 Virus, which goes into production in mid-September.

The first of the two films, already in production, is The Occultist. Directed by Novin Shakiba (Deadly Little Christmas), the film tells the story of a group of medical students at a prestigious university who try to evoke evil spirits with sinister results. Domiziano co-stars with Ursula Vari and Rachel Reynolds.

The second feature, H1N1 Virus, is a thriller about a case of highly contagious swine flu virus engineered by rogue scientists. Domiziano executive produces and co-stars with Joe Zaso. The picture is to be directed by award-winning Ryan S. Harris (Finale). Production begins on Monday, September 14th.
