More Mother's Day Casting
And the cast ... or should I say victims ... for Darren Bousman's remake of the Eighties classic, Mother's Day continues to shape up nicely as a familiar Saw face joins another pretty one!
Shock Till You Drop got the exclusive heads-up that Saw alumni Lyriq Bent (pictured right) (who is all set to play a character named "Treshawn") and Lisa Marcos of NBC's "The Listener" have both joined to cast of what's certain to be one sick little flick!
The new actors will be joining the previously announced Jaime King, Briana Evigan, Shawn Ashmore and Alexa Vega. Mother's Day begins lensing in two-weeks in two weeks in Winnipeg, Canada.
In the remake of the classic Troma film from 1980, three brothers on the run from the law head for home, only to discover that their mother lost the house in a foreclosure. Mother ingeniously orchestrates her sons' escape, teaching the house's new owners and their guests a few lessons along the way.
