Universal Pictures announced today that the worldwide debut of The Wolfman trailer will take place online tomorrow, Thursday, August 20th, 2009! Tune in to Yahoo! Movies and AccessHollywood.com tomorrow, and be the first to check out the highly anticipated trailer debut!
In The Wolfman, Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro), a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother... and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

Saw this on (heavy metal news web site) Blabbermouth.net: Gene Simmons of KISS posted this on his official web site - "I recently was proud to have been asked to come in and do the 'howling' voice of for Universal's 'The Wolfman'. What I saw looked terrific. The movie is having some special effects added." Gene has been known to talk a lot of shit. Anybody else hear anything about this bizarre bit of news?

I'm dying to see the trailer tomorrow. This has been the movie I've most awaited in QUITE awhile. I must say though, the still showing his claws is my favorite of the new ones. It just screams "Someone's throat is getting ripped out!" to me.

I still love the original Wolf Man and I don't think this is all that necessary.
That said, I'm really pulling for this to be a fun creature feature. It's got potential, but the endless delays and reshoots don't have me all that pumped.

I really hope this turns out well. The Wolfman is my favourite of the Universal classics so I'm pulling for this one to succeed.
