A Behind-the-Scenes Look at The Lovely Bones
Mark Wahlberg is an actor whose performances have ranged from terrific (Three Kings, The Departed) to downright embarrassing (Max Payne, The Happening) so we're pretty interested in seeing how things turn out for him in Peter Jackson's upcoming The Lovely Bones. While we wait, how about a behind-the-scenes peek into the production?
The story centers on a young girl, Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan), who has been murdered and watches over her family - and her killer - from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal. Along with Wahlberg, the cast includes Rachel Weisz as his wife and Susan Sarandon as Susie's Grandma Lynn.
Check out the featurette below, and look for more on this one soon as its December 11th release dates draws ever closer.

Anytime Peter Jackson makes a film it's time to celebrate, but wasn't making this the classic 'troubled production'?

Wahlberg kicked ASS in FOUR BROTHERS!!!!! SHOOTER was a fun flick to watch too. THE ITALIAN JOB(and him in it) was good also. Ok,I guess what I'm saying is I usually enjoy his movies. However I did whisper a WTF from time to time during THE HAPPENING.

Yeah, but wasn't making this the classic 'troubled production'?

Most of the troubles seemed to revolve around how best to depict "heaven" and a few of the other effects. At least that was the story. Hopefully once they got that squared away, it was smoother sailing.

Poor Marky Mark! No respect. LOL Seriously, though, since he is pretty consistently only as good as his director, it should be very interesting to see how he does with Jackson at the helm.
