For the life of us we can't understand just why any supposed thrill-seekers would want to risk their very lives and sometimes limbs just to climb a mountain. Because it's there? Really? When trouble comes, it's sometimes deservedly so. Such is the case with the French thriller Vertige (or High Lane for us silly Americans).

Synopsis
A group of friends on vacation decide to venture onto a trail high up in the mountains that has been closed for repairs. The climb proves more perilous than planned, especially as they soon realize that they are not alone. The adventure turns into a nightmare.
