Twilight Saga: Eclipse Expands Its Cast Yet Again
If you've seen the Viking/Sci-Fi/Monster mash-up Outlander (review here), a young actor by the name of Jack Huston might have caught your eye. He has since parlayed that experience into a regular part in the upcoming ABC series "Eastwick," and now his name recognition is about to go through the roof since he's been signed to appear in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
According to THR, Huston will play Royce King II, a human that lived during the Great Depression. David Slade is directing Eclipse, which is filming in Vancouver and has a June 30, 2010, release date. Interestingly, Jack is the grandson of director John Huston and nephew of actors Anjelica Huston and Danny Huston, the latter of whom happened to also appear in Slade's 30 Days of Night.
Lest you think Jack is all good looks and family connections, rest assured he can get down and dirty with the best of them. Just check out his starring role in the disturbing indie Deadly End (review here).
In any event, look out, RPattz. You've got some serious competition heading your way!
