True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll Celebrates Mother's Day
And the first looney ... er ... we mean actor. Yes, the first actor to sign on to Darren Lynn Bousman's upcoming redux of Charles Kaufman's 1980 cult classic has been named, and lord only knows what mayhem and carnage await her!
THR reports that everyone's favorite sexy and angsty vampire teen from HBO's hit series "True Blood", Deborah Ann Woll, is the first to sign up for psycho duty in Mother's Day.
The remake sees the villainous family, slightly expanded to include a daughter (Woll), return to the house where they grew up and terrorize the new owners and their guests.
We all know Woll has the chops to play a villain, but with Bousman at the helm fangs are most likely to be the last of this new family's worries.
The filmmakers are shooting for a spring release timed to coincide with (what else?) Mother's Day. Cameras begin rolling this fall in Manitoba.

"Fear Itself" should be pretty fresh in your minds considering it's hitting DVD soon with some very bitchin' artwork. The short-lived show was like the unofficial third season of "Masters of Horror". For various reasons it was pulled before it could run its final five episodes.
