When it comes to viral marketing, there’s no question that the great William Castle was the godfather of the idea. The next folks to successfully utilize this technique were the masterminds behind The Blair Witch Project. Well, part of the latter are back with a new film, and in terms of virals they’ve outdone themselves.
Earlier in the day we received a package in the mail. Inside were a myriad of old photographs of horses. The strange thing? In every picture the horse’s head was cut out. Except for two of them. Those two had something pinned in the place where the animal’s head would have gone. It didn’t stop there, though. Upon digging further into the box, we found the plaque you see below. On the back of it was a URL that led here.
What does it all mean? You’ll just have to wait until May 18th when the movie is released by Image Entertainment. Details on that to follow.

Synopsis
When newlywed Molly Reynolds returns to her long-abandoned family home, frightful reminders of a nightmarish childhood begin seeping into her new life. She soon begins an inexorable descent into an evil that blurs the lines between psychosis and possession.
