SDCC 09: TONS of Saw Content to Be Had!
We’re only a few months away from the triumphant return of Costas Mandylor, and if you’re dying to find out more about the mysterious Saw VI, the San Diego Comic-Con has PLENTY of material to help tide fans over until Jigsaw’s latest caper hits theaters this fall.
If you’re going to be at the Con this Thursday, be one of the first 100 people to hit the Lionsgate booth (#3729) so you can scoop up tickets for the 2pm talent signing with Costas Mandylor (Hoffman) and Betsy Russell (Jill Kramer). They’ll be putting their signatures on the never-before-seen Saw VI teaser poster. And if you’re up for more autographs, you’re going to want to swing by the 5pm signing to meet Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell! Bell will be autographing a limited edition Comic-Con Saw VI poster as well as introducing the world premiere teaser trailer.
On the interactive side, via Microsoft’s mobile TAG technology, fans will be tattooed with a special tag that unlocks the first exclusive clip from Saw VI on their mobile phones; Lionsgate is encouraging everyone to download the program which allows them to use this technology on their mobile phone from this site NOW. Once the program is downloaded, fans will be able to take a photo of the tag which will direct them to a special mobile site that will allow them to view exclusive footage from Saw VI. (Of course, fans will need to have a phone with CAMERAS and must be able to play video to experience this promotion.)
If you’re desperate for more Saw after all that, you can check out the video game, due on October 6 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
We’ll be bringing you the latest and greatest on Saw VI as it happens over the next few days, and check out the official site for all sorts of other goodies.

Unlike most of my horror friends, I’ve yet to see The Hills Run Red. The slasher fanatic in me is frothing at the mouth, and each glowing review I read only makes things worse. If you’re going to be at Comic-Con this week, get your ass over to Booth #4329 to get the latest on Dave Parker’s eagerly awaited genre flick.
