Leonardo DiCaprio Taking Us to The Twilight Zone
We are about to re-enter another dimension. A dimension of familiar sights, sounds, and minds. There's a sign post up ahead. Next stop -- the remake zone!
Variety reports that Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way are moving ahead on a "Twilight Zone" movie, hiring Rand Ravich to pen a script based on the iconic TV series, which melded fantasy, science-fiction, and horror elements.
Genre audiences last heard from Ravich when he directed The Astronaut's Wife, which felt like an extended episode of the iconic show to begin with. It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table with this redux and who -- if more than one person -- will be taking the director's helm on different segments and which stories they will choose for that matter. My vote -- a little episode from Season 5 - "Mr. Garrity and the Graves"! Spooky stuff!
Look for more on this one soon. In the interim dig on the opening that started it all (even before the famed theme song) below!

Yet another graphic novel is making the jump to the big screen. But this one? This one has a super hot chick battling horror inducing creatures with various sharp implements while monster gore flies about liberally and with reckless abandon. In short -- we're interested!

Lord, seriously? I can barely muster the effort to give a shit.
