Peter Krause Ready to Get Beastly

"Six Feet Under" star Peter Krause is ready to dip his feet into the old creature pool for CBS Film's upcoming retelling of the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, Beastly.

Variety reports that Krause will play the materialistic father of a rich, handsome teen (Alex Pettyfer) who plays a cruel joke on a classmate not knowing she's a witch (Mary-Kate Olsen).
