Wrong Turn 3 Makes a Date with DVD and Blu-ray!





Everyone loves a deformed and bloodthirsty hillbilly. The horror genre is proof positive of that. Over the last several years the Wrong Turn series has delivered all manner of mayhem, and come this September and October you'll be able to sample all of the carnage in full 1080p!

Hi-Def Digest reports that Wrong Turn and Wrong Turn 2 will be hitting Blu-ray on September 15th and will also turn up in a Blu-ray three-pack bundled with Wrong Turn 3 when it's released on Blu-ray on October 20th from 20th Century Fox.

Synopsis
Fonda and her friends go to the woods for a couple of days. Her friends are killed by the wild, now staple mutant killer, Three Finger, who of course cannibalizes them. She is left to fend for herself, but not for long. Meanwhile some dangerous prisoners are being transferred by Nate Wilson, a prison warden, on his last day before leaving to become a lawyer. During transport their truck is attacked by Three Finger and the prisoners escape. While being chased through the woods, the prisoners come across an abandoned truck filled with bags of money. One-by-one Three Finger kills all the prisoners and everyone who searches for them ...

that trailer actually has me excited. I really enjoyed the first two and this one looks like its going to carry on the spirit of those by having more awesome deaths and lots of the red stuff. ah, it brings a great big smile to my face.

October 20th I'm gettin all 3 of them. Hell yes!

I've been meaning to see the 1st one ever since I fell in love with Lynch's mutant hillbilly hoedown. This one looks like a lot of fun as well.
