Is a Jonah Hex Sequel Being Prepped?

Will Josh Brolin's portrayal of Jonah Hex be a one-off, or can we trust Megan Fox's tease to MTV about a sequel already potentially being in the works?

Well, who wouldn't believe everything out of that purty mouth? Especially stuff like "They leave it open for a sequel" and "They tweaked the script so there might be a sequel if necessary", which she said during a quick video interview you can watch over on MTV's Splash Page. Also of note was her comment that she only worked on Jonah Hex for a week, which is likely to crush the dreams of everyone who was hoping she'd appear in a large portion of the film.

Of course any talk of a sequel is all speculation until Jimmy Hayward's adaptation appears in theatres, which ain't happening for another year anyway; it has an August, 2010, release date. But this should keep your interest piqued: Megan promises that her character is a "tough, no-nonsense prostitute" in a "dark, no-nonsense, no bullshit movie." Apparently Ms. Fox has a thing against nonsense.
