Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer 2 Jon Knautz The Shrine Travor Matthews Tweet By Masked Slasher June 16th, 2009 Wondering what Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (review here) director Jon Knautz is working on next? For a while we thought it was a return of the monster slayer, but that's not the case. Shock Till You Drop caught word today that Knautz is readying principal photography on a new film called The Shrine, formerly known as The Cult. Shooting is expected to begin in early August with Knautz back behind the camera with Travor "Jack Brooks" Matthews leading the cast which will be announced shortly. The premise centers around a group of journalists who become targets of cult sacrifice after investigating their ritualistic ways.
