Viral marketing campaigns are nothing new, but HBO has really taken it to the next level with its promotion of "True Blood", which begins its second season this coming Sunday, June 14th.
Along with the unbelievably clever faux website Bloodcopy.com, there's a YouTube channel chock full of "leaked footage" and other videos ranging from a plea from State Senator Adams who lost his son to a V overdose to the deposition of a vampire accused of hiring "daytime" guys to move some money around to a docu-drama about a private investigator who specialized in vampire/human trysts (all of which you can see below).
But that's just the beginning. For lots more, including a vampire's call to 911 after a feeding goes bad and a shape-shifter caught on film, hit the above YouTube link.
