The Bloody Cuts anthology filmmakers are quickly becoming experts in misdirection, showing you one thing before blowing you out of the water with something else. It’s a classic magician’s trick, and they have created magic once again with their newest entry, Mother Died.
The film stars Sarah Winter as the daughter and features Carol Storey as the mother. Mother Died is directed by BAFTA-winning F/X maestro Neill Gordon and produced/edited by Ben Franklin (no relation to that Ben Franklin, that we know of).
Bloody Cuts is a series of short films that, after the 13th episode is completed, will be combined to form one big-ass nightmare of an anthology film! Now do yourself a favor and check out their newest offering, Mother Died.
