Writer Found for Paranormal Activity 4

Some big news has come in regarding just who will be penning the script for Paranormal Activity 4, and while the name may not be familiar to many of you, given his connections to Paranormal producer Jason Blum and the horror franchise’s creator, Oren Peli, it makes perfect sense. Read on for the details!
Per THR’s Heat Vision Blog, Zack Estrin, a writer/executive producer on ABC’s “The River”, which is also executive produced by Blum and Peli, has closed a deal to write Paranormal Activity 4 for Paramount.
Estrin’s experience includes working as a writer and co-executive producer on Fox’s “Prison Break” and as a writer on ABC’s “No Ordinary Family”.
Paranormal Activity 4 will open nationwide on October 19th, and per usual, most details for the film are being kept under wraps. Paranormal 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are expected to return for the fourth film, but their deals have still not been finalized yet.
