This is not a horror flick...
The onlt horrific thing about it is that this shit is on Dread Central...
You guy's in need of young pussy or sumthin...?

They covered The Incredible Hulk, why is it hard to believe they'd cover this?
Submitted by Terminal on Sat, 05/23/2009 - 4:48am.
Cuz The Incredible Hulk is a monster flick, better yet, a modern retelling of Jekyll and Hyde mixed with Frankensteins monster...
In short a monster flick...
Twilight takes the monsters from old and makes them whiny, teenie boppie, sparkly, cute and unmonsterly.
It's Sixteen Candles with sparkly, hundred year old virgins.
These flicks are getting enough attention as it is and I do believe that The Dread will not collapse if they do not run every news item on Sparkly the Vampire...
C'mon...The Hulk would eat these vampires.

There are fans out there of these movies. Horror fans. True, I think their taste is for shit but they're fans none-the-less. What if we stopped covering zombie movies because all of a sudden we decided they were bullshit?
We just can't do that. We cover all news, sometimes begrudgingly. Hopefully a Twilight fan will come read a story, then check out the rest of the site and find out about some new horror movies, new REAL horror movies, and move away from the Tweener craze.
Also, keep in mind this is a business. It costs money to keep it going. Dread Central doesn't just appear on the Net for free. Twilight - for whatever god forsaken reason - equals traffic. New traffic. If we don't provide content they will go elsewhere. Every major horror site is covering this drivel. We have no choice. Traffic equals ad dollars. Ad dollars = keeping the site running. Dig?
Besides that how else are we gonna keep up our high Google rating for "Teenage Girls Shitting Their Pants?" ;)
Here's an idea ... if you don't wanna read about Twilight, don't read about Twilight. Move on to one of the 40 other stories a day that appear on the site. There's plenty!

I can digg it...
Nothing is for free, we all got to make a sacrifice in life.
I just can't stand these flicks getting more attention (in general, on every site) than say Splinter, which is a great lowbudget flick.
I know I gotta take the the good with the bad...
But that doesn't mean I can't spit some venom once a while.

Sorry dude, but yes, even though its as far on the fringe as possible, it has to do with werewolves and vampires. That brings it under our radar, and believe it or not there are millions of people who are very much interested in these flicks so, much to our chagrin, we cover them.

This is not horror in my eyes. But if it sells it sells right? Screw integrity.

The only Twilight I watch ends with "Zone."

Churning this crap out, as long as the interest lasts.
I predict the fourth film will go DTV as the pathetic tween morons that love this nonsense have moved onto something else.
Shame on Dread Central for perpetuating it. Leave this shit for corporate whores like Bloody-Disguswting.

Biggest bunch of Mary Sue fanfiction bullshit EVER. I'm not a person who just hates things on sight, but this franchise is almost forcing me to make an exception. From the oiled up, hairless "werewolves" (who supposedly turn into really, REALLY big wolves) to the sparkling vampires...everything about this just offends my inner horror fan.

Gay. Oh wait, can we still say gay? No? How about lame? But then there's physically lame people that might take offense. Stupid? But the all the Twilight fans will be insulted. Guess I'll stick with gay.
That chick is kinda cute, though...

The only twilight I will ever watch is the one happening outside my window right now... otherwise, I agree with you Frank - this is really gay!
