More Fright Night Remake Talk
Remember two years ago when we told you that Screen Gems was in the process of getting a remake of Tom Holland's 1985 classic Fright Night off the ground? No? Who could blame ya! Talk of this happening surfaces every now and then, so get ready for the latest!
THR reports tonight that Dreamworks, along with producer Michael De Luca and Gaeta/Rosenzweig Films, has picked up the remake rights.
Dreamworks, huh? Interesting. Maybe it will happen this time after all. No writers or directors have been attached to the project yet, but we do know that the remake will follow the same storyline as the original and "keep the comedy-horror tone while modernizing the effects."
