Chris Gorak at a Dead Loss

Chris Gorak who helmed the unnerving indie flick Right at Your Door had got himself a new film to work on -- Dead Loss. The title is actually pretty appropriate considering that's just what I was at after reading the plot crunch.

Variety reports that Gorak has signed on to direct the film from a script penned by Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson which is set in the dangerous world of crab fishing. Yes. Crab fishing. Dead Loss will show us what happens to a crew when they rescue a castaway adrift in a life raft with mysterious cargo.

Dude, never pick-up a hitchhiker. On land or sea. Nothing good ever comes of it. Especially ones with mysterious cargo. That's just askin' for trouble, damn it!
