Dark Castle to Show Us The Apparition

While we all wait patiently for Hack/Slash to finally get its ass off of the ground, director Todd Lincoln has signed up for yet another film. This time a haunted house flick based on "true" events!

Variety reports tonight that "Dark Castle is revisiting the haunted house genre, pairing with Todd Lincoln, who will write and direct "The Apparition" for Joel Silver's genre label."

The idea was originally conceived by Lincoln along with Dark Castle exec Alex Heineman and producer Daniel Alter. No other details are known at this point other than the whole based on a true story thing. I remember one time I had this spectral encounter with these two Guatemalan chicks and a wheel barrel full of garden gnomes. True that has nothing to do with this story but it is proof positive that strange shit happens, man.
