Telltale’s The Walking Dead is a 5-part episodic game series coming this spring for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game’s talk show just released the second episode of Playing Dead, where you can get great insider information straight from the developers! We have it here along with Episode 1 in case you missed it.

From the Press Release
Telltale has released the second episode of Playing Dead at the official website for The Walking Dead. Playing Dead is Telltale’s talk show format developer diary designed to let gamers know what they can expect from the upcoming game based on Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series.

The Walking Dead is a 5-part episodic game series coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC and other leading platforms. The first episode will be available for download later this spring.

In this episode of Playing Dead, we join host AJ LoCascio and guests Sean Vanaman (Lead Designer) and Gary Whitta (Story Consultant and Writer for Episode Four) as they discuss how Telltale is expanding on the world that The Walking Dead fans love. They also talk about how player decisions and actions affect the game’s story in multiple ways, leading to what Telltale calls a “tailored experience”.

In addition to making new screenshots available (see them below), Telltale has also posted the first of a series of video format Q&A sessions on the games’ official website (answers come from Lead Designer Jake Rodkin and Designer Harrison Pink). Gamers are encouraged to ask more questions for future Q&A sessions by emailing playingdead@telltalegames.com or leaving a message at (707) 701 DEAD.

Playing Dead host AJ LoCascio provided the voice for Marty McFly in Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game series. Gary Whitta is a screenwriter, author, game designer and video game journalist. Whitta’s writing credits include The Book of Eli, and Gears of War.

Stay tuned for more details! The next episode of Playing Dead will include special guest Robert Kirkman and will reveal Telltale’s The Walking Dead in action for the very first time. The Walking Dead is rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence and Strong Language.
