Ghost Sheri telling Michael to kill? Honestly, Rob?

Yeah sounds like a page taken out of another slasher franchise... *cough* Friday the 13th *cough*

I'm not bothered by the similarities to F13--its just that it looks really silly and out of place given the tone that Rob wants to set up. Although you have to give credit to Rob finding a way to have his wife in the film when she blew her brains out in the last one.

Credit? Really? I think he deserves people giving him shit for it rather than any sort of credit.

Me too, WiB.

"Witness the Birth of Fear"....God. They couldn't even come up with an original tag line?

*Shakes head*

Those who WERE on the fence about this, as I was...it's not gonna convince ya to shell out for it. Those who already hated it....even more ammo. Heh...and Rob even throws in a kid going "Are you a giant?' to Michael, to mock those of us who bitched about the 50 Foot Myers before. Nice.

What's really gonna be puzzling is...if Rob says that only a small bit of the film takes place in the hospital...we've then probably seen that entire bit. Wonder if that's at the very beginning, or the very end of the film? Wouldn't surprise me if that was the tail end, and Rob makes us sit through an entire film of Hobo Myers just to cut off at that point and set up H3: A whole new HYBRID of fear!

From what I heard, the hospital scene is in the beginning of the film, taking place right after the first film ended after Laurie shot Michael. The rest of the film takes place a year or two later.

Ahhh...gotcha. So all that stuff was from the very beginning of the film. After the hospital scene, we get to spend the rest of the movie being treated to white-trash, drug addicted Laurie and Michael having visions of his ghost mommy telling him to "kill them all Jaso---err...Michael!".

Give Myers a chainsaw, and go for the hat trick, Rob. Hell, I take that back. He's already a juggernaut like Jason, he's already burned like Freddy, and he's got the Myers mask looking like Leatherface's...giving him the chainsaw would make him a hybrid of the "big four" slashers of horror cinema.

In addition to that, he should carry around a four-leaf clover and a puzzle box. You've got to cover all your bases, you know.

Oh MAN. Forgot about those. Yeah, he should totally have like, a four leaf clover in his lapel, some of Lep's coins in his pocket, and carry around a puzzle box in his bindle.
