H2: See Myers in Mid Rampage

Yet another still from Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 has show up online, but this one at least is sporting some good old fashioned mayhem. Dig it!

The image as per usual showed up on Zombie's MySpace page, and Rob had this to say about it:

"This movie has nothing to do with the movie that came out back in 1981. The only thing slightly the same is my film has a brief hospital scene at the top of the film and even that is 100% different. These are all new characters and all new situations. This is not a remake of a sequel, this is the continuing story of the Halloween I started."

Dig the still below and look for H2 in theatres on August 28th.

Ok....

Lets get this out of the way....
The reason why I'd (and many others...)like to know how Michael survived the head shot is because Zombie has
been going on and on how his Michael is a human being...

Let me repeat that for you:Human Being.

No druid's, no Satan, no supernatural anything.
And in his remake Michael does some shit that no normal man can do...like getting shot in the face and live.
Let alone walking around killing people.

Zombie talks too much shit, he should learn to be quit and let his work speak for it's self

The mind is like a parachute...it only works when it is open.

Frankly I could give a crap how he survived the shot to the face. I mean seriously the original series didn't make much sense anyway, druids, masks that rot your face to shit, not to mention the amount of times he should have died but didn't and astrological BS. At this point all I want from Myers is something entertaining. Lets just pretend Rob is a happy lil mongoloid boy and hand him the ball and let him run with it. Who knows he might just run into the street with it.

In terms of the 'original series', I think most Halloween officianados would be keen to make a distinction between the original Carpenter film, the 'series' of films directly following on from this one (i.e. 2,4,5, and 6 - and you take your pick of which part 6 you want to add here, as there are a few to choose from), the non-Myers part 3, Halloween H20 (which is basically a follow on from Halloween 2, as it seems to ignore parts 3,4,5,and 6) and the abysmal part 8, and then there are the Rob Zombie movies which seem to want to play by their own rules...! So when you say, "the original series didn't make much sense anyway, druids, masks that rot your face to shit", some of that stuff only occured in a few of the films, and only in part 2,4,5,6,8 and now RZ H2 can it be said that Myers, "should have died but didn't". To suggest that the films are one long continuation of a single story is rather dubious.

Judging by the hair in the photo he's some kind of rastafarian and was probably stoned so much he did not feel the shot to the face.

He's part Ninja Turtle and he pulled his head inside his jumpsuit before Laurie shot.

I'm more interested in how Myers survived the gunshot to the face...

it's not like they ever explained how myers was able to take all that damage in the original movies either. Unless you wanna go with that absurd Druid thing.

Thats easy. In the movie it just shows Laurie fire the gun. and little blood splatter. I knowa guy that tried to commit suicide and put the gun to his head and fire, it took a small part of his brain and skull out but he surviveed but was bleeding heavily. He was saved an hour later by paramedics. So I guess you can say thats what they might do with Michael. I think anyway
