Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter?

Abraham Lincoln has been called a lot of things -- Honest Abe, the Rail Splitter, and the Great Emancipator -- but Vampire Hunter? That's a new one for me.

What the hell am I talking about? Well, according to SCI FI Wire, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith recently signed with Grand Central Press for a two-book, $575,000 deal, and his first novel will be Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. SFW says the story is a loose sketch of Lincoln's life with one twist — our 16th President is the world's most skilled vampire hunter.

As you might expect, rumors of a film deal are already popping up with the William Morris Agency handling the rights. Color me more than intrigued, and keep it here for more as it comes.
