Hallett played everyone's favorite singing green-skinned demon Lorne on the show. The actor passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a five-year battle with heart disease with his father Dave Hallett by his side. Hallett delighted fans everywhere and has left us with some truly hilarious memories. I can think of no better way to send him off than with a song. Mar 30 That's thoroughly That's thoroughly depressing. The man was brilliant, Lorne was the single brightest part of Angel most seasons. I was wondering the other day why we hadn't seen him in anything post-Angel. Guess we know now. This just sucks.
