Paramount and MySpace Prep Section 8
We all love social networking. Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter have had major impact on our lives. Now, courtesy of Paramount, Gaumont, and MySpace, it will also have an impact of some deaths.
Variety reports that that a new web series titled Section 8 is set to debut exclusively on MySpace sometime this fall.
Section 8 is "a supernatural thriller with a Ten Little Indians conceit: Characters are knocked off one by one, with viewers given clues as to who is trying to kill them and why. About 12 episodes are planned, with production set for June." The planned run time for each entry is of six to nine minutes.
"The thriller will have elements designed to allow viewers to use various functions of the social networking service while watching the segs. Viewers will also be able to vote on the ending of the series."
Sounds pretty nifty! Look for more on Section 8 really soon!
