Playboy Playmates Telling Scary Stories
Do you like anthology horror films? Do you like Playboy Playmates? Then you might like The Telling, a new horror anthology flick shot at the Playboy Mansion that's coming to DVD April 14th.
The Telling is a horror anthology built around three girls hoping to pledge the most elite sorority on campus composed of the most beautiful mean girls on campus led by Playmate Holly Madison of the Playboy reality series "The Girls Next Door" and "Dancing with the Stars". Each pledge as their final task must tell the scariest story they can think of, leading to a trilogy of airbrushed terror.
The first is the psychological thriller "Dollface". When Tommy brings home a rescued antique doll to his girlfriend, Lily (Rebekah Kochan, The Asylum's When a Killer Calls), she becomes convinced that the doll is alive. Not only that, but that the doll wants her dead.
The second is "Crimson Echo", an homage to 1940's horror films. A once A-level actress (Bridget Marquardt, also of "The Girls Next Door") is reduced to doing a horror film in Central Europe. However, when she arrives, she is drugged, and made to face her darkest fears.
The third and final tale is "Prank Call". Three girls stumble upon a murder while making prank calls. When the murderer finds them, they must figure out who to trust and who is out to kill them.
Once the three tales are told it comes to vote. But has someone taken the stories of murder to heart? I'm guessing yes or else the ending to this film is going to be quite lackluster.
I should mention that Sara-Jean Underwood, another Playmate from "The Girls Next Door", will also be appearing in The Telling. I can only assume that with three Playboy Playmates in the cast someone's getting naked and then some sooner or later. Another hint: the movie will be available in both R-rated and unrated versions.
R.E.D. Entertainment will be releasing The Telling to DVD on April 14th. Here's the trailer so that you can get a better taste of all the collagen-injected, silicone-enhanced horror of The Telling. Sorry, horny dudes, but the trailer is work-safe. Order your copy below.
