Fred Durst and Seven Scribe Deliver Psycho Killer
Limp Bizkit front-man Fred Durst is looking to trade in his mic for the director's chair, and who better to bring with him in this endeavor than Andrew Kevin Walker, the writer of Se7en, Sleepy Hollow, and the upcoming Wolfman?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the man who did it all for the nookie will be at the helm of a new horror film called Psycho Killer (great, now I've got that song stuck in my head).
"It's not a throwaway slasher genre film," says Durst. "It's a very smart, really compelling story about a serial killer on a mission for Satan. It's really interesting and the way it's written - it's so unique. Andy is an incredible writer. It looks like we're going to go into pre-production around August."
Bizkits, Satan, and Psychos, OH MY! Keep it here for more as it comes.

And the behind-the-scenes stuff keeps trickling in from the set of Halloween 2. This time, a look at the band headlining Haddonfield's Phantom Jam -- Captain Clegg and The Night Creatures.

I doubt he'll rape AKW's script any worse than Joel Schumacher did with 8MM but I'll be shocked if this results in a watchable, let alone a good film.

This is out of left field. I love the script, so I'm happy that it might get made, but it's just bizarre that Fred Durst will be at the helm. I haven't seen either of his films, but I hope he has the chops. The script is so unrelentingly dark things could go very wrong very quickly if he's not up to it.
