You've been waiting months for it, no? Hello? *knocks on screen* Hello? Screw it! I'm gonna get this outta the way anyhow! Sony Pictures announced today that Anaconda 4: Trail of Blood (review) will be hitting DVD on June 2nd, 2009. Picking up right where the third installment left off, the story centers upon a dying mogul who hires a doctor to harvest a fresh supply of blood orchids and experiment with the regenerative nectar on a baby snake. The offspring grows monstrous in size and appetite and becomes seemingly invincible, sliding through explosions and gunfire only to regenerate and prey insatiably on anything in its path. Yay. In other Anaconda news, also on June 2nd, we'll see the Blu-ray release of the original Anaconda so be ready to ogle Lopez's ridiculously perfect ass in full 1080p!
