Bryan Singer Wants Prisoners?
Hey, Bryan. What's goin' on? It's good to see you. We hear you are interested in one of the hottest scripts in Hollywood. The one written by that kid from Brooklyn with Mark Wahlberg attached. What's that all about? Okay, well, it was great to meet you. Say hello to ya motha fa' me, okay?
EW reports today that director Bryan Singer is circling around Prisoners, which was written by Aaron Guzikowski and has Mark Wahlberg attached to star. "I don't know yet. But I'm definitely intrigued. It's a great script. And I'd love to work with Mark," Singer told EW. Guess we'll see what happens.
The story, said to be a cross between Se7en and The Silence of the Lambs, concerns a Boston family man whose six-year-old daughter and her best friend are kidnapped. He then takes matters into his own hands by in turn kidnapping the man he suspects responsible.

Aaron is not a "Brooklyn native" - he is from Brockton, Mass., just outside of Boston.

Thanks for the clarification. All our sources kept referring to him as a "Brooklynite" -- guess he just lives there now rather than being born there.
