First Image from Rob Zombie's Halloween 2
As promised by the man himself, the first image from his upcoming sequel to Halloween, cleverly titled Halloween 2, has hit the Net!
Zombie posted the image below on his MySpace page and had this to say about it:
"Well, we made it through the first three days. Everything is going great," says Zombie. "This film is going to blow away my last trip to Haddonfield. Ultra gritty, ultra intense, and very real. Here is a sneak peek of Laurie moments after being wheeled into the ER."

Look for much more on the film leading up to its release date of August 28th, 2009.

Everyone needs a tiny serial killer to take with them everywhere they go. They can be invaluable, man! How many times have you been annoyed by the misguided moron texting the girl right next to her in the middle of a movie theatre? The urge to kill can be great!

Every word Zombie says between now and the release is a fucking LIE!
The ONLY reason he's making this pile of shit is because Dimension wouldn't give him the money for T-REX unless he pumped out this bullshit. Hence the August release date.
But considering that I will never, ever watch this crap I guess my opinion doesn't mean anything in the face of the horde of dumb-fucks who WILL.

Far be it from me to question your journalistic integrity, but did he really say "Ultra gritty, ultra intense, and very real."? I mean, that is pretty much the line we use to describe what I had always hoped were the foolish, incompetent, just-do-not-get-it straw men directors.
People actually say that stuff?

I hope this has a cameo appearance by a seventies genre icon, preferably someone with a dignified air, because that'll make the profanity even more incongruous.
Wishing on a star here, but c'mon, it could happen.

Would it do if they just have dignified hair?

HALLOWEEN is my favorite horror series. Love em all. Watch em over and over. Halloween 2 has always been my favorite of the series. I hope this is good.

Rob Zombie REALLY needs to start making movies for Platinum Dunes.
Mind you, once you're under the indentured servitude of The Weinsteins, no-one escapes...
Just ask Lasse Hallstrom.

ULTRA GRITTY!!! ULTRA INTENSE!!! Rob Zombie is sounding more and more like David "Demon" DeFalco...

Oh no he said "gritty".

All he needs is to add some "grim" and Rob Liefeld art design, and he's got a winner!

They should release in October against SAW VI-3D. Whichever shitty Hot Topic horror movie wins...we lose.
