The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft

Image Comics has announced the imminent release of a new comic fictionalizing the life and times of H.P. Lovecraft. The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft blends a touch of reality with fantastical fiction, and puts the iconic author himself as the main character living in a world of nightmare.
The story centers on Lovecraft and his encounter with an ancient book of unspeakable lore (can you guess the book's name? I bet you can!) which passes unto him a terrible curse. The introverted author suddenly becomes a great force of unwitting destruction and is also the only one capable of battling the forces that he unleashes to the world.
The comic tale is to be released as a four-part series with artwork by Tony Salmons and writing by Mac Carter. The first 40 page edition is due to hit shelves on April 8th. For more information visit the official website!, and check out a trailer for the comic below!
