Zack Snyder Readies Sucker Punch

It may not be 100% horror, but since the possible next film for Watchmen director Zack Snyder is described as ”Alice in Wonderland with machine guns”, I can’t help but think horror fans will find something to dig about it.

Talking with Collider recently, Snyder revealed that the film, called Sucker Punch, will hopefully roll in the fall for a release in March of 2011. He calls it a “hardcore action film” that will “definitely be rated R”, and I say I’m there.

”[The film] takes place in the late 60’s and it’s about a girl that’s been committed to an insane asylum and she fantasizes that she can escape and she has these crazy adventures in her mind where she goes into the past and into the future,” Snyder told the site. He penned the film as well.
