New Pics From Sorority Row, Knowing

Summit Entertainment just released images from their 2009 slate of releases and while there’s not a lot of horror on there, it’s still worth showing you guys. Cause, you know, you’re special.

On March 20th, 2009, Summit will be putting the Nicholas Cage thriller Knowing in theaters. The story is of a time capsule that, when it’s unearthed 50 years after its burial, contains a document that has accurately predicted all the major cataclysmic events of the last 50 years. There’s still some left that haven’t happened yet, one of which could mean the end of life as we know.

Their other significant release, aside from New Moon which hasn’t even started filming yet, is the remake of House on Sorority Row, now simply titled Sorority Row.

Due out on October 2nd, 2009, the official plot for the redux goes like this; When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret...

Personally I’m not putting too much hope in this being worthwhile, it reaks of April Fool’s Day remake-level badness, but we’ve got 9 months to find out more. Check out the first two pics from it below!
