Believe it or not more casting news has come in for Season Two of the hit AMC series based on the Robert Kirkman zombie epic, “The Walking Dead”. That and an all new TV spot! It’s a good time to be a fan of the undead!

Entertainment Weekly reports that Michael Zegen of FX’s now completed “Rescue Me” has signed on for the recurring role of “Randall” in the second season. Randall is described as a skinny Southern kid who finds himself in a rather unique set of post-apocalypse circumstances.

In this latest season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” TV series, the survivors arrive at Hershel’s Farm, where we will meet Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson), a vet (as in a veterinarian); his daughter, Maggie (Lauren Cohan); and Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince), the middle-aged ranch foreman who’s such a sweetheart that he all but loses it when he accidentally shoots a fellow survivor. The new cast members join series regulars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes, Jon Bernthal as Shane Walsh, Laurie Holden as Andrea, Jeffrey DeMunn as Dale, Steven Yeun as Glenn, and Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes.

Kicking off a two-week long Fearfest, the network will once again present viewers with a 90-minute premiere episode, airing at 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 16th, with six one-hour episodes in the weeks following. The final six episodes of the season will commence on Sunday, February 12th at 9:00 PM ET. The 90-minute version will also be launched globally on all Fox International Channels, following the US premiere the week of October 17th-23rd. Season Two will reach FOX audiences in 122 countries, speaking 35 languages and will be seen by over 200 million households globally.
