Cronenberg May Commit Timecrimes
During an interview with Blogdecine, director Nacho Vigalondo let the beans spill about who he's considering to be in the director's chair for the remake of his time travel thriller Timecrimes (review).
David Cronenberg (A History of Violence) is one of the names he threw out there. Though this is nothing official, it is a deal sweetener for some who easily brush off remakes. Nacho wouldn't mind casting Bruce Willis, Adam Brody and maybe Kurt Russel in TC as well, if that helps.
The original flick centered around "a man who accidentally gets into a time machine and travels back in time nearly an hour. Finding himself will be the first of a series of disasters of unforeseeable consequences."

I wish I could give you guy more details from the set of Jennifer’s Body than I actually can, but all in good time, fiends. What I can tell you is that the film looks like it’s going to be a helluva lot of fun, full of all those things we horror fans hold so near and dear: blood, guts and laughs.
