Director Michael Bartlett just checked in to let us know that his sequel to the very popular The Zombie Diaries (review here) is well on its way and has a new title and even a new teaser one-sheet! Ready for the goods?
The new film is now being called World of the Dead: The Zombie Diaries 2, and Bartlett is getting set to shoot from a script from long-time collaborator Kevin Gates.
Like Romero’s Diary of the Dead, only made before it, The Zombie Diaries was a pretty disturbing flesh-eating opus shot in the style of cinéma-vérité. Plot details on the sequel are for now scarce, but rest assured we’ll have an interview with Bartlett soon that should flesh things out for you!
