Trick or Treat Releasing All-Gold 'Leprechaun' Figure as Part of Ultimate Size Kickstarter

Trick or Treat Studios marked St. Patrick’s Day by launching a Kickstarter for its massive Leprechaun Ultimate Doll, featuring a standout perk: an all-gold Leprechaun action figure available exclusively through the campaign.

The doll stands out as one of the most striking collectibles in recent memory. Its level of realism is remarkable—so convincing it nearly blurs the line between a prop and the real thing. Fans clamored to get their hands on it, driving the campaign to reach its goal in just ten minutes. It has since surged to $500,000 – five times its initial $100,000 target!

“This project has been a long time in the making, and we’re incredibly grateful to the fans who came out to support it. Reaching our goal so quickly really shows how much love there still is for the original film,” said Alyson Furst, Trick or Treat Studios Marketing and PR. “A huge part of that excitement came from Sir Warwick Davis generously offering his time to help us kick off the Kickstarter. It also doesn’t hurt that Alex [Ray] and Justin [Mabry] absolutely knocked it out of the park with the sculpture and paint work. And with some really exciting stretch goals on the horizon, we’re just getting started. We can’t wait for fans to finally get this piece in hand.”

One backer even secured the 1 of 1 Limited Edition Ultimate Leprechaun, complete with genuine gold buckles and accessories, a personalized certificate of authenticity, and a unique gold-foiled box. Only one exists, offering true one-of-a-kind status and ultimate bragging rights for its owner, who dropped a whopping $10k!

The Leprechaun film series begins with Leprechaun (1993), in which a vengeful leprechaun hunts for his stolen gold, followed by Leprechaun 2 (1994), where he seeks a bride in Los Angeles, and Leprechaun 3 (1995), which takes place in Las Vegas as his gold brings misfortune to those who possess it. In Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), the character travels to a futuristic setting involving a royal marriage, while Leprechaun in the Hood (2000) and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003) relocate the story to urban environments centered around the theft of his gold. The franchise was later revived with Leprechaun: Origins (2014), which reimagines the character in a rural setting, and Leprechaun Returns (2018), a direct sequel to the 1993 film that follows a new group of characters confronting the creature.
